So...What Is Alpha?

ALPHA is

Anyone can come. Anyone interested in finding out more
about the Christian Faith is welcome.
Learning and laughter. Join others in a relaxed atmosphere.
Pasta (or other good food). Each weekly session begins with
dinner.
Helping one another. Dinner is followed by large group
presentation and small group discussion.
Ask anything. Here’s your chance to ask questions and express your opinions.

The Alpha course provides an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. At an Alpha course you can explore the Christian faith in a safe, relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day or weekend away. It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations. Why not take this opportunity to explore the meaning of life?

Over 8 million people worldwide have now attended an Alpha course. It is running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations, and at universities, in prisons and on military bases across the world.
